Jonathon brings a richness of life, career and business experience to his role that is seldom matched. With a family history in the industry, Jonathon first attained his Agent’s Representative Certificate in 2008, however he put real estate on the back burner and opted instead for a career in aviation, where he held roles as a pilot, and in financial services, sales and marketing at an executive level. Now, over a decade later Jonathon has reignited his real estate career.
Having been grounded from flying due to the COVID-19 event, Jonathon like so many others in 2020 had to re-evaluate his career and lifestyle priorities, essentially to reinvent himself. He set out to find a career that would enable him to enjoy more time at home on the Mornington Peninsula. With his real estate qualifications as well as a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management, Jonathon is well qualified to guide and advise his clients across the spectrum of commercial and legal activity that makes up the process of buying and selling property. He has strong negotiating skills developed in competitive sales environments and with more than twenty years in the business of asset finance as a lease broking consultant, he has broad understanding of buyer behaviour and sound transactional experience.
Away from the office, Jonathon is a busy parent and as he describes it a “maker of school lunches”. While his interests include sailing, flying, classic cars and wooden boats time spent with his kids is the best time for Jonathon. Despite having travelled the globe many times over, experiencing some of the best travel destinations the world has to offer, home for Jonathon is the Mornington Peninsula; the diversity of the region, the food, wine, beaches, hills, arts, great schools and great people coupled with four seasons (sometimes in the same day!) is what makes the Peninsula for him “one of the world’s best living environments”.
