"Meredith you have done an amazing job with skilful negotiations, care, follow up and communications. Thank you so much for all you have done."
Meredith Jones for a long while had more than a passing interest in real estate so it wasn’t merely fate that navigated her into the industry after putting her property up for sale and bonding with the selling agent over a love of horses. Now managing over 80 rental tenancies, Meredith started on the reception desk in Woodend then two years later began assisting with rentals. She says the most enjoyable aspect of her role is building respectful and trustworthy relationships with landlords and tenants, in a similar vein to the connection she felt with the agent who sold her property. Meredith has lived in the Macedon Ranges for over 30 years, attracted by acreage close to Melbourne that developed into the equestrian business which brought about many friendships and a lasting link with the equine community. The double bonus of country lifestyle and city accessibility is driving greater demand for town based rental accommodation by an already strong number of families considering a permanent move to the Woodend, Macedon and Kyneton townships with a view to buying or building new homes, according to Meredith. Having downsized to a home in New Gisborne, she now enjoys nurturing her native garden and the bird life it attracts.
